Soothing Oatmeal bath
If your little one or not so little one suffers from eczema like mine does a nice soothing bath with oatmeal can help. It is all natural and a lot cheaper than purchasing named brand oatmeal baths from the store. I'll be showing you how easy it is to make using Power Chef System from Tupperware.
All you need is some oatmeal, you can get this in bulk at the bulk barn. They often have coupons that come in the mail as well. A container, I use 2 one for the bathroom which is the glass jar the other is an old Kool Aid container that I cleaned out. I keep my extra in that one. Use what ever works for you. I'm using the Power Chef System but you can use your blender.
Put the oatmeal in your blender system
On the Power Chef you pull the cord, very easy and very quiet. If you have a sleeping baby you can use this no problem. If you have only a electric blender I would wait as those are very noisy.
A few pulls and it is all ground up. You want it fairly fine for the bath.
Place your oatmeal in your container
All done, now you can pour in the bath as needed. You can use as little or as much as you want, I free pour but I would say at least 1 cup into warm water. You may want to rinse your child off after if they have a lot sticking to them but this has never happened with me. You will need to rinse you tub after though.
