You don't have to use harsh or toxic chemicals to get a clean sink or tub. Not only are these ingredients healthier for you to use but much more cost effective too. Better for the environment, health and wallet. All you need is some baking soda, essential oils and a touch of water.
Sprinkle your baking soda in your sink or tub just as you would another cleaner. Put a drop or two of essential oil, I used tea tree but there are so many great ones you can use including some pre-made blends. If you have cats I would suggest you NOT clean with tea tree as it has been known to be toxic to cats if ingested. Below are some examples of essential oils that would be good for this job. Then you take your cloth, add a bit of water as it makes a paste rub the sink. You will see the grime easily come off as the white paste turns grey with the dirt it is picking up. Then just rinse your cloth and sink with water. Throw your cloth in the laundry to be cleaned and used again. **Tip** when cleaning the tub instead of just using a cloth you can use a toilet scrubber for the inside of the tub. Helps you clean faster and less reaching in and across. You can get a cheap one from places such as Ikea ($2)
